Getting Started and Heading East

Leaving the Trave and heading east. With this Mediterranean weather it feels more like snailing than sailing. We are finding nice anchorages and repairing the last bits and bobs. Our goal to reach Stralsund at the 3rd of August seams realistic at the moment. Wir verlassen die Trave und machen

Almost Ready

A classic aluminium yacht (built in 1977),  some old friends and adventurous spirit lead to an ambitious plan: reach the Mediterranean by sailboat. Plenty of planning went into the route and possible ports of call. This was to be a perilous journey, including navigating the North Sea, challenging the English
