Through the Night with the Wind from Behind

In Stralsund, Roman joined our crew and we set off on our journey to Szczecin. Having a good breeze in our back, we decided to make some miles by sailing through the night for the first time. Just before the sunrise we passed Świnoujście and reached our destination at noon. Today, second mate and chief berry-picker, Ina, left the boat to head back to the mainland.

In Stralsund tritt Roman der Crew bei und wir machen uns auf den Weg nach Stettin. Wir haben ordentlichen Rückenwind und entscheiden uns, einiges an Strecke zurückzulegen, in dem wir -zum ersten Mal- durch die Nacht segeln. Kurz vor Sonnenaufgang fahren wir an Świnoujście vorbei und erreichen unser Ziel gegen Mittag. An diesem Tag verlässt Zweitmatrosin und Hauptbeerenpfückerin Ina das Boot und macht sich auf den Weg zurück aufs Festland.
