Among the Islands
We set a northerly course with an early start and hope to reach another small
Island in the Gulf of Riga, Kihnu. We make good speed at first, however, towards

The Heart of the Baltics
As we are about to leave the small island of Ruhnu, who else but the Ina arrives
in the harbour. So, we decide to stay for another day before setting off towards
Riga.
Another Day, Another Country
Leaving Klapeida in Lithuania for Liepaja in Latvia, we have a gentle breeze
from behind which is perfect for hoisting the spinnaker. This big colourful sail
is fun but hard to control. The
120 Nautical Miles in 19 Hours
We leave Gdansk after sunset and set course for the open sea to avoid Russian
waters and being intercepted by the coastguard. By sunrise we have already
completed a third of the distance.
Exploring Land
The first larger town on our route encourages us to stay a few more days and
explore the city. We dock next to our new friends from the Ina, who we join on
